Located in KIGALI  city  center near  the  downtown  bus  station, El’Vapiano coffee house  invites you to come and taste delicious, typically European  and  East African homemade dishes, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients.

El’Vapiano coffee house has been the ideal place to come and feast with friends or family since the summer of 2019.

We welcome you, whether for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner, indoors or on the terrace, in a relaxed place perfect for tasting our specialties such as delicious fresh food, excellent pieces of beef, chicken or even the fish of the day, the all accompanied by  European wines and the most appreciated local  drinks.

We are a generous team that appreciates human contact and sharing. As true enthusiasts of fine cuisine, we lovingly prepare different specialties to delight the tastes of our customers.

Place of sharing and meeting, located in city center, we welcome you alone, with your partner or with friends and we offer menus that vary with the seasons in order to satisfy all desires.

Vapiano comes from the Italian proverb "Chi va piano va sano e va lontano", literally "Who goes slowly, goes healthily and goes far". This proverb is the equivalent of the French "Who wants to travel far spares his mount."

El’Vapiano coffee house is in the expansion phase. Maybe your city will be on the list of planned openings soon.
The capital of El’Vapiano is not open to the public.
Reservation is possible , we also love the guests who introduce themselves spontaneously, like those who have planned their visit, feel equally at home with us. That's why we're open 7 days a week.
It goes without saying, children are welcome at El’Vapiano. We offer them several dishes, as well as high chairs. In many of our restaurants there is enough space to park strollers.
Self-determination is a key principle of El’Vapiano. We want our customers to be free to decide to settle where they want, to eat what they want and, why not, to change places. The smart card offers them the possibility of organizing their time in complete freedom.
As soon as you realize that you have lost your smart card, inform the manager of the restaurant. He will do everything possible to resolve the issue, to your satisfaction.
At El’Vapiano, payments can be made in cash, with MasterCard, Visa, American Express. We also accept Debit card, Momo Pay and mobile money.
The Vapiano restaurants are non-smoking areas, but it is possible to smoke on the terrace or outside.
El’Vapiano has adopted the principle of "cooking like at a friend's house" and restaurants are designed as places of exchange. We want our customers to feel like staying with friends but also guarantee their privacy .
You are free. If you would like to tip as a token of appreciation, a box is available at the checkout. Tips are of course exclusively intended for the staff of El’Vapiano, who thank you in advance.
You can watch the food or desserts being prepared by looking through the windows of our “American Kitchen”. Our sauces and pizza crusts are also homemade. The only products that we do not prepare ourselves come from carefully selected suppliers.
New suggestions, in line with the season, are offered every three months.
You can request all of our take-out meals. Our well-designed packaging ensures safe transport and can be reused.
At El’Vapiano, we want each of our customers to be able to express themselves freely. During preparation, you can indicate your preferences to the chef. And once served, you can season your dish to your liking. On each table we have fresh herbs, salt and pepper, olive oil, chili oil and balsamic vinegar. In the different stations you will also find oil flavored with garlic and chilli.
At El’Vapiano, we want to offer our customers new taste experiences. This is why a dish is sometimes replaced by a new creation. But be aware that even if certain dishes are no longer on the menu, they reappear from time to time in the suggestions.
Yes we do , however to guarantee freshness and impeccable quality, we prefer to welcome you to our site to avoid any possible delay.
Unfortunately, the furniture and clothing worn by the staff are not offered for sale.
